I am an Instructional Technology Specialist for the Birdville ISD, with a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Elementary Education/English and an MS in Educational Computing from Texas A&M Commerce with K-12 Tech Apps Certification. I was a classroom teacher for 16 years in Kindergarten before moving into technology. In my role as a Technology Specialist I work with students, teachers, and administrators as they apply engaging tools and strategies to enhance the teaching and learning process. Such tools and applications include those used for the creation and delivery of digital media, including digital cameras, digital video cameras, editing software, and publishing solutions. I am also involved in other technology projects such as distance learning and Web 2.0 applications applicable to the teaching and learning process.
